On the Seventh day morning of the Brahmotsavam, the presiding deity, Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara is seated with Sun God driving the Chariot.Mythology has it that the Sun God is the key architect of life of humans, animals and plants from whom even powerful luminaries receive luminosity in the cosmos.It is widely believed that witnessing this Vahanam not only provides sustained life but also relieves one from physical ailment.
On the seventh day evening the Lord is taken out in procession with Moon as symbol of his vehicle. Purusha Sooktha describes Moon as "Chandrama Manaso Jaathaha (Moon is born from the mind of Lord Maha Vishnu)". Moon is the commander of mind and is a symbol of cool and pleasantness
